Okay, so here is dem pictures :D As you can tell, it is still spring where I am, and this is affecting my mood (positively)... that or I'm a crazy person...
That, and I want to be really nice to you guys because... my schedule changed again. I can't do a second post for this month because I'm going on a cruise to Alaska with my little brother, grandma and uncle (possibly.)
That's why I've been really putting an effort into my pictures. These, however, I found good enough to avoid a trip to the touch up studio, so all of these pictures are "raw", so to speak.
From certain angles, my backyard actually doesn't look like a junkyard, and looks more like a garden.
And apparently, I like ruining both my eyes and my camera lens to make pictures like this. :) Oh well...
Signing out indefinitely,
Lizzi

Okay...
Yeah, I lied again. I'm going to post twice a month now, if possible. So here's your second post.
This time, I edited the pictures a little bit, so that it's easier to tell what your actually looking at.
Where I live, it's spring and very rainy, so I'm taking pictures of the flowers outside before my doggies eat them all.
Almost all of these pictures were taken just this morning, actually, so I'm not just recycling old pictures.
In the picture right above, there's actually a rainbow, which I didn't notice when I first took the picture. I edited the photo so that you can actually see the rainbow. A little bit, hehe.
I like this last photo least of all. No matter what I did to edit it and make it look better, it still looked horrible. I tried sharpening the image, reducing the noise, fixing the brightness and contrast. I am still horribly displeased with this last picture.

Weather
The joys of Northern Idaho. I took these pictures only a couple days before my birthday - which was on the twenty fourth of march. It actually started snowing on the supposed first day of spring, the 20th.
Now of course, all of that snow can only mean one thing - for my family at least, since we live five miles out of town.
Well, actually two things.
1). Snowy, wet doggies get to stay inside most of the day.
And...
SNOW DAY!!!!
In the end, though. It wasn't just a snow day. It was three snow days and then the weekend, during which time I had none of my textbooks to do schoolwork. SCORE!!
I paid for it in the end, though. Oh well. I got a whole five days away from school! And there's more coming up, too! Easter! And this time, I won't be stuck with three days worth of homework and quizzes to make up. This is an official holiday vacation! YAY!
PS: I am going to be writing a comic on deviantART, which is - as of yet - unnamed. If you like Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, Super Smash Brothers and random, you'll like this.
PPS: I might post each 'episode' here as well.
PPPS: The comic is now named "Trophy House".

Picture Blitz: Part 2
More candy!! Yippee....
Okay, I thought I had already posted this picture. I probably have. Great.
More of last year's California trip...
More sunsets? How unpredictable. Yup, that's right. I'm unpredictable in my predictability... or something.
Okay, so you may have noticed that I am not my usual, happy self. I'm a teenage girl, so I don't see why I should be happy. That and my mom's suffering at work. She's not happy, even though she puts on a brave face, and because of that, it makes me unhappy. I can put on a brave face at school, but my writing changes when my mood changes, and I can't fake it.
At the moment, I'm listening to "Time Bomb" by All Time Low. I know, it's not exactly the kind of music a christian girl usually listens to, but it's good music, and I like that style of music anyways. Pop-Rock, Emo, blah blah blah. Besides, I haven't really found any christian music like that by chance. I find the music I like by chance, but I need to look for more songs and expand my horizons. Step out of my comfort zone, even if for just a little bit.
Now I'm listening to "Savior" by Rise Against. I actually just saw a "Savior, Female Version" on youtube. Intriguing.
Okay, I just wasted five seconds I'm never getting back. They had only changed the pitch on the original song "to make it easier for females to sing". I'll take the original lyrics any day. They ruined a good song. Now I'm listening to "Headphones On" by Miranda Cosgrove. That's actually the song that made me want to learn how to play the guitar.
I just provided free advertising for three songs. Three awesome songs. Oh well. I hope you enjoyed having year-old, guilt riddled candy thrown at your eyes. Goodbye!

Picture Blitz: Part 1
| Guilt Riddled Cavities! |
Ah, the bear. If you look really closely at the glass separating me from certain death, you'll see something teal blue. That's my "camera". Geez. Looking at the photo really makes me realize how old this picture is. This is like two year old candy, gosh darn it. Lesson of the day kids. Never procrastinate.
If you really know your landmarks, then you'll know what mountain this is. It isn't the best picture of said mountain, but it's hard to take pictures while moving.
My lousy camera can never do my home justice, but it sure tries its best.
I guarantee you. I do not go out into the wilderness of my backyard in the middle of the night to take pictures. I do not fancy being eaten by bears or coyotes, but my camera has a weird habit of either making really dark pictures, or really light pictures. Maybe 'tis time to invest in a different one...
Now remember. This is only the beginning. You have been warned.

Wait, it's February already?
Okay, so I've been putting off this blog post for quite a while now. I IZ LAZY!!! YAY! Anyways, I have some pictures. More pictures. Folders full of pictures... ALL FOR YOU!!! So, here are some pictures of... stuff, nature stuff. :D I took the pictures above in early November, before the heavy snow came in. Because I live five miles out of town, we get more snow, but it's usually a lot less... noticeable then this.
Maybe you've noticed by now that I like to take pictures of the same thing? Maybe that's because there is very little varying between the "victims" of my pictures. But I do promise when I go on the Alaskan cruise this summer, I will bring back some great pictures! Oh, and I almost forgot. Yesterday, this really weird fog rolled into town. It was huge, and by huge I meant it stretched probably to Viola and all the way out to that circled area in the last picture. I'm guessing about fifteen to twenty miles wide. As we were driving past it on the other side of the ridge, it look like an enormous, fluffy dragon swooping over the ridge. I wish I had had my camera :(

Schedule
Okay, so I have figured out that, for this to work with my current life schedule, it's got to be a once a month update. Now, it's time to compare snow from November, to December and now to January. In November, we got a little bit of snow (a little bit for where I live. We usually get... about a foot when it's all said and done.) My mom and dad were debating whether or not it was a foot, or sixteen inches. The weather forecast said we would get sixteen inches between Monday and Wednesday, this past week. We now have sixteen inches of snow on Friday, and since then, because the roads out where I live get bad in the winter, we've had three days of nearly continuous snow-fall and three snow days. YES!
Now onto the comparison photos. One of them was taken while I was writing up this blog post. This is November:
Okay, not too bad, right? Now onto December:
For us, that looks like early spring. Now here we have January:
What? Okay, and just so you think "Okay, it's really not that deep out there. It just looks like it." The little black dot in front of the forked tree. That's a chair. It's a small chair, but it's still a chair. Here's a comparison picture.
That's what our yard usually looks like. Minus the fact that it's black and white. With some blue. I can't think of much else to say. Good Bye!
